Default Layers and Toolpath Templates -December 18th 2013

Happy Holidays from ShopBot Tools! For the final training of 2013 I am going to do a training that will help users become more proficient using the layering options and templating of toolpaths. Though these are two very different features, both of them are very useful for time management and ease of use when creating files.

I will focus on the Patio Chair file showing how drawing different parts of it on different layers will make the file more efficient. Then using the toolpath templates we can easily modify the file for different thickness of plywood without having to redraw or create new toolpaths.

Other files will be referenced as well please join us Wednesday December 18th at 1:00pm EST

This will be recorded and posted for future viewings. Thanks, TJ

    Default Canceled

Sorry to inform everyone I have to cancel today's training. I have the worst case of strep throat I have had in my 32 years. Cannot even open my mouth, which I am sure my wife is enjoying

Once I get back in the game I will make sure to reschedule this training and have it recorded for everyone to enjoy.

Happy holidays, be safe, thanks, TJ

I sometimes watch your videos after they are recorded and posted and you'd be surprised at what tricks this "old dog" can be taught

Best cure For a bad Throat.

One slice of Bacon, us coarse salt to coat raw bacon with (both sides).
swallow the bacon down to your fingers that you are holding the bacon with. Count to 10 then pull bacon out leaving salt in Throat.

Mix two teaspoons of Honey with 4 ounces of Southern Comfort. Drink slowly. Repeat as needed.

Even if it doesn't cure you after a couple doses you won't give a damn.

(Strep sucks-I used to get it and tonsillitis at the same time. Megadoses of penicillin and usually high fever until it broke with cold night sweats. My sympathies)
