Default Merry Christmas to all our Botter friends

Gordon Hendley and I finished the scene of Jesus' Birth today. Gordon purchased this file last month. Loaded it in Aspire 4.0. We placed an outer lip on the file as to be able to accept a picture frame with glass. The lip extended above the 3D model by 0.125 so that when the frame and glass are attached, it would not touch the model. This was cut in HDU and measures 1" x 24" x 24". Roughed with .25 endmill, Finish cut with .125 tapered ballnose. Approx. 6 hours cut time total. There was absolutely no finish sanding needed. We painted with Modern Masters Metal Effects Paint, Copper.

Hope everyone has a joyous Christmas and Happy New Year with family and friends.

Why did you use a roughing pass it looks like it could have all been done with the 1/8" bit. but it does nook great.
