    Default Pit Cart Topper

Shop Bot life has been good for the 9 years I have lived it.

I recently made this topper for a trade show cart

Made from 1/2" Black starboard ( routed and bent )

Paper trays are from routed and bent Di Bond

Very cool. Whats in the box? Tools? Do the toppers have electronics? How is it used? Looks great!

I am up 81, just north of Hagerstown by the way.

Very cool your in Hagerstown. We definitely need to meet.

The pit cart is vinyl wrapped for Davis Technologies. He produces traction control for race cars. The topper is loaded with electronics Spin fixtures, Displays for 4 different products he makes. Touch screens that play videos.

We use it for trade shows and racing events.
The cart holds all the paperwork and fliers plus everything to make it a "Trade Show in a Box".
It has Dibond inserts that can be changed out as products change.
I will post some more pictures of some of the stuff inside if I can find them.

    Thanks for the good words

Very nice- haven't heard of starboard. How would that compare to expanded
pvc for surface, stiffness etc. Thanks Gene

It is King Starboard the same HDPE material as King Color Core.

It of course is a solid color and is sold for making marine products.

The bends are back cut with a 90 degree cutter until there is .045 material remaining. Then the bend line is heated with a torch while bending.

I have cut tons of it over the years.
