Dan, What v-bit you using and how happy with it when you look close? I love the Celtic-y abstract look! Tattoo designs?

60 degree bit, don't know the brand. Whats to see up close?

Not much was wondering about tool marks,ripout,fuzzies. Excellent.

Tool marks, in V-carved usually caused by bits angle not correct, I lessen the degree so the bit penetrates further removing the cut line.
Tear out in soft woods, pine as a example can be reduced by changing
the cut direction and keeping the draft part of the bit resin free.
Fuzzies, I don't see much of that anymore, lower the rotation speed and sharp bits, I guess.
I make lots of little tables that are v-carved with designs on them, I pick and choose the direction of cuts for the carved pieces and join the files together so to lessen breakout also sealing the surface or pre staining also helps, just some thoughts.
