When you use PW-3D, you create the 3D relief toolpaths you need. Then go to PW (or VCarvePro) and import the PW-3D project, add all the 2D circles you need! Use the 3D relief as a "subroutine" in the regular PW. Its really a potent idea once you have figured it out.

but i dont really understand yet. I dont have any 2d circles, I just have circular 3d shapes I want to mill precisly. In a normal fashion, you raster over the y axe, but then I would mill 80% air, thats the reason I am looking into circular milling.

Select your circular outline around the area you are milling, then in 3d finishing toolpath set your area machining strategy to Offset. I think this is what you are looking for?

What software are you using? I am using Part Works 3d v1.002
Probably not the latest built, but I dont have that option "offset" in the strategie panel
