I have come up with a new way to paint the flat areas on signs without any mask and do it faster than you can peel the mask off the old way.
My question is : is there any one interested in this say if a kit cost 35.00 to be able to do this who would be interested in this idea?
I am trying to see if i should try to market it or not ?

As long as it doesn't involve a spray can duct taped to the carriage i'd be interested.
One of the reasons i don't do signs is my hands are too shaky to try to do any painting.

Is $35 a one time fee or cost per sign for disposable materials?
It's cheap enough if its a real time saver and produces a quality product.

I usually use an appropriately sized paint roller for flat areas. No masking required. And they usually cost a bit less than $35.00 USD.

Masking works so well that it would be difficult to be convinced to try another way.

its a 1 time no supplies to repurchase no spray or duct tape and as long as you take care of your equipment it will take care of you. working on a video

I have decided not to sell kits but i will tell you how to paint a carved sign fast with no mask.

carve your sign and paint the carved part wit a brush and wipe off the excess off of the face of the sign
Go to a hobby or craft store and get a BRAYER ROLLER.
They come inn sizes of 2" to 10 ",
get the paint you are going to use on the face of the sign and stirr it.
Pay Attention:
wipe off the stirr stick on something smooth like a scrap of cardboard or wood then lay the paint can lid on top of the can.
use the brayer roller to smooth out the paint off of the stirr stick '
now paint the sign face with VERY THIN LAYERS of paint
DO NOT PUSH DOWN on the roller , simply allow the roller to transfer the paint to the sign .
DO not try to speed up by coating the roller with a heavy coat as this will screw up your work
Apply several light coats watching so it doesnt get in the carved part , if you use light coats this will work . you do not have to let the paint dry between coats
Do not roll the roller too fast because it will sling off small paint dots where you dont want them . i will try to post photos of signs i have done . hope this helps all.
