Keith, I am still using the 1 2+2 3/8 bit you sent to me. I beleive this is a compression bit?
I have cut well over 150 sheets of 3/4 pre finished birch ply with dadoes for cabinetry. I also use the same bit for door board (5/8 mdf with liner on one side) It cuts very clean. Recently I have cut about 200 brackets from maple lumber (3/4) each one was about 1.5 - 2 sq. ft. of cut.
Then today I am cutting plywood again and no signs of any wear at all.
I cut plywood at 5 IPS. I need to order 2 of the 1/4" and 2 of the 3/8 bits as I seem to be geting busy.
These are by far the best bit I have used in my short career as a cnc owner. (2007)
Thank you, David
