    Default Hand Held Laser Scanner

This wireless hand held scanner in this video seems very high end. This link takes you straight away to the scanner portion of the video @ 1:45. The rest of the video is about serious usage of 3D printing and supporting technology.

You might enjoy the rest of it I am a fan of the KOENIGSEGG brand.

@ 5:26 they show a 3D part printed in titanium. (NOT a typo).

What a fantastic post Joe! That company is light years ahead of the pack. You might like to watch this vid on Christians factory. What an eye opener. I couldnt believe he was painting 1.5 million dollar cars with a gravity gun - its all about craftsmmanship. And he achieved all this with about zero capital. Gives one heaps of inspiration to achieve more.

    Whew! Bring money baby!

I am building a raceboat. I want my own lines and compound curves on the boat and the bot is an essential part of that process. Christian uses the same approach on some of his processes that I do now or would like to in the future.

My mold making is getting better and my infusion skills are getting much better. Its a pricey world to be 'one of' when my molds cost me 2-300USD in materials and then actually using the mold can be another 300USD it can be an expensive experiment fast. Especially when there is a screw up. Again...

Looks somewhat similar to the scanner that our friend Melissa Jones from Nice Carvings is using in this video. I think they were doing a
test/review of the scanner and then she was to make a presentation
at a company (scanner maker) meeting in Canada. Gene
