    Default stepper motor help

    hi guys,
    i came into the shop this morning only to find that our prt alpha stepper motors are running intermittently, can anyone help? i uploaded a vid with this message but i have no idea where it was uploaded to ....i tried to zero x and y axis, and i keep getting a jerking motion, it runs and stops for a half second and runs again and stops, etc. this happens with stepper motors on all axis? any suggestions?

    I'd try a "UR" which will reload the ramp values.

    After you fix that, order a set of pinions for your tool & replace them - those are beyond shot. When you install them, clean and grease the rack to make them last. Your cut quality and overall machine smoothness will be increased many times.
