I don't think it is a matter of if "the bot" was smart enough...but more a matter if "you" were smart enough....and it looks like you passed the test!
I'll bet it took way less time then doing it on the scrollsaw Now what about the round box that goes with it? It's hard to tell from the pic what size it is? What bit did you use? Excellent!

Thanks Jack , and they are 5.5" dia. and the box's are underneath the lids . Made by the bot had some old 2.5" thick workbench material laying around .
And you guessed right Scott they worked out better than planned.
