    Default motor faults

I am running a tool path set in mm. (machine is still in Inches)
For some reason it wants to kick up the error "TOOL STOP BUTTON IS ON" and then goes in to a fault on inp 4. I have checked line 9 and find nothing remarkable about it. "LN:9 1052.99, 375.00, 92.00"
Needless to say the stop button is not on.
When I set the top of material routine up it says it will convert the results to mm. Is it possible that the conversion is mucking it up? I am stuck, I have rewritten the tool path several times and still wind up with the same result.

If SB3 is set for inches and you're running a file that has 1052.99, 375.00, 92.00 as a move then surely that's going to go way outside the limits?

You need to change SB3 to mm using VD.

Mark this sure can be confusing! The easiest cock up proof method is to leave SB3 in inches and never touch it! Design in Vectric using mm BUT save using your normal inch/arcs post processor. The forum put me onto this method a while back and I have never had a problem since. Metric is no longer a challenge or worrying!
