Default Panel #6 Gates of Paradise

Let me start out by giving some history of this panel from the door at the Baptistry of St. John in Florance, Italy.

    This is Cypress measuring approx. 8" x 8" x .5"
Started out with .25 endmill to get rid of some of the bulk.
The finishing was completed with .0625 ballnose with a 10% step over at .83 IPS.

Really great piece. What bits did you use?

    Good evening Eugene,
I purchased the model as this really intrigued me with the detail. I want to run it again, but the next time bigger. The original on the door of the baptistry is 31.5" x 31.5". I want to gold leaf the finish on this to match the original.

    Thanks again,
    Terry

where did you purchase it... I have a Catholic church in my area that was destroyed by a tornado a few years back and they have almost finished the new building, would like to offer to do their doors for them,
