    Default 3x motion wireing to S/B controler

    This what I have. Shop-Bot controler and 3xmotion stepper motor which have 8 wires Controler uses 4 according to the PDF file http://www.3xmotion.com/2008/stepper_motors.pdf Red is A, Yellow is -A,Blue is C and Black is -C In witch order should they be aranged to connect to the Controler

    Take a picture of your SB controller & post it up. There are at least 4 COMPLETELY different SB controllers/logic boards. There should be a revision number on the board as well.

    Glenn,
    That's what's referred to as a 4G board.

    OK, if you are running a G203 for that axis, use the correct Wago connector to plug into the board. Your wiring *should* be as follows, mating to the factory ShopBot wiring (Motor wires to ShopBot wire):

    Red to Black
    Yellow to Green
    Blue to White
    Black to Red

    If the motor goes the opposite way you want it to, just swap the Black & Green on the motor cable. Current set resistor should be set on the board for 1.5A. If you motor is a higher amperage, then you will not get full power out of it AND you will need a heatsink over 2A or so.
