    Default 2nd Z programming

How do i tell my new software to use the "A" axis. The file will be only for this axis.

I have tried but my machine refuses to move the "A" axis, always reverting to "Z".

OR can you point me to the answer.

    Thanks

Here's where I'm going with this:
I’m using older control software and use a PP designed for the 2nd Z. I’m not sure, but I think the newer versions use one PP and keep track of the axis with tool numbers.
    Reserved tool numbers
    Head 1 (Z) tools are #1...#19
    Head 2 (A) tools are #21...#29 (Only used if you have a 2nd Z)
Anyone feel free to correct or expand on my answer!
