Question Post proccesor not in drop down

We had shopbot come in and make a new Post processor for us and I was able to pull it off of another computer that has aspire also. I recently have had to format my computer because the Hard Drive was low on space. I have added the PP back to to Aspire application data folder in the post processor folder. The problem is when I go to save the toolpath and change the PP in the drop down the new Post processor is not available. Did I miss a step?

    thanks in advance!!!

Look for a folder called something like "myposts" in the data files and put your pp in there.

On the Aspire File menu choose Open Application Data Folder. If you're running the latest version of Aspire put the PP in the My_PostP folder otherwise put it into the PostP folder.

.tex ? A post processor file has a .pp extension.

Since your version is older, you're putting it in the right place, but keep in mind that the name of the file IS NOT what you will see in the drop down list. Open that .pp in a text editor and look to see what the POST_NAME is in the file and that is what you will see in your list. Change it to something easily recognized if you want. You can also cut and paste all non used posts to a folder within the pp folder and leave just the one(s) you want to show in the list.

Be sure to close/reopen Aspire to refresh the list.
