    Default Aspire question

I want to import the tool database from my shop computer to the design computer at my home. The book of instructions tells me to use the tool database>import button. So far so good - but then the program just shows the tool database from the shop on the screen. How do I actually import it and then declare it to be the default database?

Also where in the world is this info filed? I fished through the Aspire files looking for it but can not find it.

    Tom,

open Aspire, click on file, then click on Open Application Data Folder, you should see a ToolDatabase folder.

If you want to import the database from another computer you have to export it first.

Once you've exported from your shop computer you then import the file that was created during the export process.

If you want to replace the whole database on one PC with another then it's probably easiest to just copy it using Windows.
