    Default cookie press variation

One of the free projects on the vectric site is a cookie press. It is a really simple project and only took a short while to do. I really like these projects because you can't help but learn a lot doing them and in addition you get to see how other guys have handled different situations.

In this case our grandchildren will be visiting for TGiving and we are always looking for something to keep them busy.

What I did was to delete the design of several of the presses and substitute the kids names. That way they can make their own personal cookies.

The pics show them before final sanding and finishing, but you get the idea.

The open face pizza ovens would work great for this, they can watch them cook.

This is my halloween version - http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?p=108664#p108664

I used beech for the wooden parts, corian for the stamps and finished with a food safe oil finish made by Rustins.
