Maker Faire in San Mateo is scheduled for the May 22, 23 so maybe it would be on Friday the 21st. Russ

Is there a fee or registration for the faire?

When I went two years ago we had a 'user group' meeting on Friday and those that attended got a free pass for Saturday from ShopBot. I don't know if they do that every time but it happened when I went. Russ

This year (2009) at the San Mateo camp they also handed out free passes to the Makers Faire.

If you're asking about the Ontario, California Camp it will be March 27th.
If you're asking about the California ( San Mateo) Maker Faire it will be May 22-23. We are still waiting for some details from the folks who run the Faire so I have no details to post yet.

Hey all, just throwing in my $.02

I am in San Diego, 15 min N of downtown, so I will be doing my best to attend the ontario meet-up and also already have my tix reserved for the San Mateo Makers faire.

My "shop" is a 300+sq' garage with a BT48 so there is not a whole lot of working area, but I have a nice urban outdoor space with a good table/bbq/hanging out area for 15-20 people, so if we want to put together a southern SoCal meet-up I'm game to host.

My main areas of interest are Art, fine furniture/woodwork, making gears/cams/mechanical pieces, vinyl/mask cutting, decorative millwork, signwork.
