I have quite a lot of scraps from my renter next door- he goes thru
a lot of alum- mostly .25 and 1.0 and the left overs go into his scrap
barrels. I have just started machining it. Not sure what grade it is.
I am setting up a wide format printer for the shop (Roland TF-640 (64"))
and build my own takeup reels and IR heaters on the output and extra
media rollers on the input side. I have a bunch of 80/20 extrusions
coming Monday so I figured I would make some alum brackets to
adapt to the machine and different pieces. Hardest thing is holding
down- I used .25 hardwood pins and screws. And some wax he gave
me. Not up to his standards but pretty good for me... and FUN. Gene
