Thanks Scott.
Got a mail into WidgetWorks now, asking about bit compression distance. I seem to remember it was .5" and that might help me out in my case vs. Taig Sherlines .315".
Appreciate it--Did you get a 90 or 120 degree bit?

Thanks Scott,
Would probably go 3/8 or 1/2" shank. Got a guy in Scotland that's going to do a trial 2X3" from an .eps I sent him, just to see glass---He has a UK version. He says the noise on glass freaked him out and he expected any minute for it to shatter, BUT it never did
You're NOT going to try edge lit acrylic!!

LOL. The edge lit acrylic thing grabbed me for about 5 seconds and then it passed.
I'm headed toward big, honkin ornate stuff. Victorian, mostly. That's what I like, and everything I make is so that I can learn the skills necessary to make the things that swirl in my head.
I never thought I'd be able to do it, but Brady put me onto a couple books that have helped dramatically. Plus I study for at least 3 hours every morning. Yesterday I started looking at Codice Atlantico just to get some genuine period inspiration.
I keep stuffing in information and my ideas get grander.
If I slow down to edge-light acrylic, I might end up dying without doing what I really want to do.
