I half way think that the problem is in my key, but i dont know that for sure. Everyone keeps talking about a reset button in the control box of the buddy prs, but where is it.

    Any suggestions?
Could you be using a post processor that is not including the command to turn your router on? In other words, is there actually a SO,1,1 in the file?

    Default post processor

The only thing that i have done in recent days was to move all of the PP's that i am not using into their own file and kept this PP by itself in Aspire.. Surely that did not create my problem. I am also running a router.

There have been loads of different Post Processors for the ShopBots so it's hard to say just from it's name. If it's the standard one of that name that comes with Aspire then it should be fine but the only way to be 100% certain is to edit it and make sure it has the SO commands in it.

The spindle control adds rpm control but the standard one should stop and start it.

SB3 ships with the most up to date Post Processor that does everything in one.

If I use the one Rick posted from my Aspire that is Version 3.5 then it will not start my spindle. I need the one that says with spindle control

    Default pp

I honestly dont think that it is the PP. The cutting that i was doing had about 5 v carve tool paths. I was successful in cutting at least 2 and it did not start showing a problem until the 3rd tool path. I went back to one of the files that I had correctly started and cut to see if there was a problem and the problem was still there.

I keep reading about a reset button in the control box but i have no idea where it is at. Can someone fill me in here.

Are you able to run any file successfully now? If not, post up the first 25 lines of the SBP that won't run. Just copy from the SBP and paste here.

After switching to Aspire recently, the SO,1,1 wasn't appearing in my .sbp files so I posted on the forum. Brady advised me to use one that he posted here:

Not 100% sure but isn't the reset button only on the Alpha versions of the ShopBots?
