    Default Software for Mac?

When my desktop PC's hard drive kicked the bucket I replaced the machine with a Macbook Pro. Just wondering if what my options are for design software and SB3?

I am able to run my machine and design at work... but I want the ability to tinker on files at home as well.

    THoughts?

You have two options first you could download Bootcamp Assistant or purchase Parallels. Both methods have pros and cons a little research on your part, should provide you with the best method of operating Vectric software. Personally, I'm using Parallels 9 without encountering any problems

I'm running Bootcamp and Windows 7 Home Premium to do my design work on an iMac. It works great.

BOTH MAVERICK AND YOSEMITE RUN BOOTCAMP quite nicely. Earlier versions had problems but Apple seems to have fixed them.

I have run Aspire with Parallels for years. It works well and I can can switch between Mac and Windows with a mouse click.

I like Parallels - it enables me to switch back and forth between my Windows and Mac applications seamlessly, I can copy and paste between the different OS's, and share files without thinking about it.

Others swear by Bootcamp. There are others out there (Fusion comes to mind). Bootcamp comes with the Mac OS - others may offer free trial versions (I know parallels offers a 14 day trial, but I'm not sure about other vendors out there).

Try out the free versions to see which suits you best.

I think they should just make an Ipad app for aspire & the shopbot control software, would have saved me from buying a new tablet.
