    Default Gantry Becoming loose

I am just wondering if over time that any of you have experienced the gantry becoming loose. We have two Shopbots and both gantries had to be "tightened".

We do aggressive machining of aluminum could this be the cause?

    Loose where exactly?

Bottom v-rollers are the most common. Don't make them too tight or you'll roll forge the rails into the extrusion. That = one-way ticket to sad town.

Part of daily maintenance is powering up & shaking down every axis near each motor in all directions. Adjust accordingly.

Racks & pinions have grease on them, correct?

Oh ya everything is greased up. I am thinking this was just a result of poor assembly. Not sure if anyone has experience this issue overtime.
