    Default Tight tolerance jig

I had to bore some holes in very small parts I am making for a project. They needed to be within about .005" of their intended position and it is entirely out of my human ability to line something up exactly. I came up with this jig to solve the problem. Basically, I make the jig on the machine in place and it's a snap to position the part in the jig. No human registration required!

I added a compressible slot in the jig so i could use a pressure clamp to secure the part.

Once the part is in the jig, the program runs and bores the hole.

Here's the part after the process.

It's for an invention of mine. The "Aim-right Lav Light" (So you can pee in the dark). The thing affixes to the bottom of the toilet seat so when its raised, illuminates the bowl.

While it may seem ridiculous, the thing actually works and is quite useful. I think men over 40 with wives who insist the seat be lowered each time can appreciate such a device. The battery and LED if used properly should last about ten years. If the seat is left up continuously, the battery will last about 45 days.

Id buy that. My son needs one when he needs to go during the night. He's too small to sit down, and has a tendency to "miss" a bit.

I guess us Canadians will have to pee in the dark. You know the USPS delivers here too

All kidding aside John, I'd test one out if you want. I'll pay the postage no issue.

I wouldn't mind trying this. I HATE turning the light on at night in the bathroom. I had gotten pretty good at navigating my way in the dark by touching landmarks to know where i was however since i've been on this medicine i am very dizzy and disoriented.

I hate when you get situated, aim and think you are dead center only to NOT hear that familiar sound immediately and have to stop, reaim and start over.

The only real problem i have is, is how cold the water gets in the winter...
