I have cut pvc only a couple times but wonder if you used a generous amount of anti static clothes spray on the material and bit if that might help any?

Static is tough on anything. I am glad it's getting warm here in GA
I cut PVC all the time and with a good dist collector it isn't bad.
Yes I cut it all theme. when it was bad when it had a plastic protective sheet. removing it was like getting tazed. I would have juice run up my headphone cards and zap my ears and change the volume on my iPhone. vacuuming the table can be a charged experience too.
I've just begun experimenting with Sintra and am happy with the results. Here is a photo of my first try.

I've used a product called Sprayon SP610 Anti-Static Spray when machining plastics/corian. I spray some on a rag and wipe onto the surfaces where I want to minimize static cling. I ordered some from Amazon last year, but it's not available there anymore. I see it's available from Grainger (and several other places too). Here's a link to the Grainger source:

It is supposed to be completely safe to use on metals and plastics, and it's persistent (lasts a lot longer than consumer dryer sheets and sprays). Industrial manufacturers use it to eliminate or reduce static cling on their equipment.
