    Default An experimet involving the aging of Extira


    I thought this experiment might be of interest to those who use Extira. This is a photo of the edge of the sign on our mailbox. The sign faces South. It is Extira that was not treated in any way and was left exposed to the elements for 3 1/2 years including 4 winters. (The winters in Southern New Hampshire are harsh because of the large number of freeze/thaw cycles.)

    It is starting to "delaminate" but I must admit that I am rather impressed with durability.
