Default One for my own wall.

Carved this awhile back, but finally put it up, think I need a bigger wall.

Beautiful!! I can only imagine the time involved with carving such a huge piece. I've got 2.5 hours in a 8x10 piece, though it isn't tweaked for speed either, seriously awesome!

Impressive, glued up walnut I'm guessing.

My estimate on cut time would be an even 30 hrs, must have been pretty nerve wracking.

Thank you for your comments, I like "cool" Russ, it is and its big..
warping we can handle, the time on this one was 108 hours including the rough cuts using a 3/4 inch bit the finish was Beckwiths long 1/8 tapered. Its cedar the back is left open to breath and it smells delicious in the room its in, I have done quite a number of these not quite as big but they were always for others, so it feels good to "hang" one that's not going down the road.

    Greetings Dan,
If I may ask, what is the size and the thickness?
    Thanks,
