    Are you sure you have 3 phase power? I worked on a lot of 3 phase systems, it comes it two normal voltage ranges, 120 vac to 208 vac low end of 3 phase power systems and 277 vac to 480 vac for the next step up.

    I better be since my spindle is using it (G) I have it 208 i think. can't remember for sure but but not 306 and above. the pic below is my box it only has one slot avalible. so a new box needed.

    Looks like you have 5 spaces left, 2 are needed for 220/3 phase .. that looks like a QO squared box.

    no that's the face inside is full. the only free one is the one in the middle. so I needed a new box with more slots. it was enough till I got my machine.

    Yes, I have been there..to replace the box with more spaces you have to use a larger breaker on the main disconnect, then have to use a larger wire size to the new panel. chain reaction.

    I have plenty of juice going to the box. but when he put int he box he just used what he had laying around. Plus I am not using anymore power then I used actually a bit less.
