Don't think you can use the dust collector, but it's excellent. I've cut a lot of .25 inch HDPE in really small dimensions that I couldn't believe worked out so well.
I rigged mine but it is not the standard one. I don't use the foot much anymore I have worked out who to do it without. different bits and such it is easier. but sometimes it is needed.
I've used mine a couple of times. It works ok. Biggest problem is that particles can collect under the pressure foot and this can scratch the surface of your material. Happened a lot with Dibond. Had to come up with another hold method method after all the scratching.

When I use mine I aim an air nozzle at the inside to keep from scratching my dibond.
