    Default Spindle control problem

Anyone ever had this issue...I seem to have lost control of my Yaskawa V1000 spindle?? It runs at 12,000 rpm no matter a toolpath file says. Even the Spindle Warmup Routine runs at 12K throughout. I'm guessing I need to re-install drivers but can't seem to get it to do that. Any suggestions?

Is the spindle control window showing? Is it changing the RPM display?

The Spindle Control is set to display but it just shows 12,000. I can manually change the RPM by entering a different value, but the spindle seems to ignore speed commands that are in tool path files.

Could you post a copy of your code? Does the manual entering in the Spindle control actually change the rate at which the spindle is turning?

when the spindle control screen is up is the correct VFD selected. I had the same problem and the wrong VFD was showing

There is a setting in the VFD that changes the control method. The setting is either user defined (allows for software change) or manually defined (only can be changed via VFD).

Referring to this cheat sheet may help: http://www.shopbottools.com/ShopBotD...mming2.2hp.pdf

and here is the manual with excessive info:
    http://www.shopbottools.com/ShopBotD..._manual_en.pdf

I would recommend resetting the VFD settings, and then running through the cheat sheet to restore the appropriate values (just be sure you aren't telling it to reset each time you change the values).
Reset the VFD to lock in these new values.

    Best regards,
