Thread: Post cat lacquer VS conversion varnish

    Kevin, have you first hand experiences finishing your work (furniture and cabinetry designed for the home) in both a post cat lacquer, and a conversion varnish?

    If so I'd love to hear your experiences.

    Yes I used lacquer for a little while in 90 I work at a refinishing company also used it my antique bedroom set .The lacquer did break down never refinish it .Also that same company nearly burned down a house they where working using lacquer thinner .Yes first hand experience
