    Default More reliefs

Drew a quick outline sketch and routed it on the bot. Carved the rest mainly with the chainsaw some detail with a die grinder.

Best of both worlds references in place, and with the hand work they are all a bit different

Have several others I am working on should be done today, some wolves and other owls.

Will be at the Grahamsville fair carving starting tomorrow been a busy year.

Nice work Brian. So is that a one day project once you have the wood slab ready?

Great idea Brian! I want to start chainsawing again once I get my new shop built (hope to pour the slab this afternoon). I've been carving figures but really like the bas relief idea and think it would do well up here in the UP! I also like your use of subtle color on the piece!

    A couple more from yesterday.

Bob I can get several done in a day the saw is a lot faster than CNC.

Glad to see another chainsaw carver on here Mike.

The double wolf will get a welcome sign under it they sell well.
