Default baja sign with cleat and urethane paint

here is a hdu sign approx 6'' thick installed on wall with one cleat. i cut the cleat with a battery sabre saw and put a curve in it so the sign would not shift. i drilled holes into the cleat and into the back of sign and poured gorilla glue in there to make sure the cleat would remain in place. i used spacers so the sign would not wobble when mounted on wall. One of images shows the paint products we used on the sign. we had to match pantone colors and this automotive urethane really had a great match plus dries very fast. the sign is approx 12 ft wide.
for the install we talked to the builder and he said he put a continuous 48'' high 3/4'' plywood apron behind the stucco for sign installs. So that made it easy for us.
