    Default PRT Alpha went wild

Have a PRT Alpha. Was getting some data errors yesterday. After one, the machine started running 2 or 3 times faster than normal. It appears to be ignoring the inch per second - x&y rate I have set in the program file of 2.0 inch.
I have reloaded the software for the control panel:
    reboot the computer:
    deleted ini files
    reloaded software
checked the settings and do not see where any would be causing this issue.
But as it runs a simple v-carve it is bouncing the whole machine around.
    Anyone have any ideas?

Have you done a UR to reset to the default values for your machine? Choose the default setting file that corresponds to your machine. It sounds like your ramp settings may have gotten corrupted if it's banging around.

Thanks Scott. I did do that but didn't do the right reset. Back to making sawdust again.
