Default How do I make 2 cuts, at 2 depths, from one file?

I click "3d" under converter, it only shows color 255 and "3d-by entity"

I've tried every .dxf format available...what am I missing?

Items must be set to "by color" in CAD, rather than "by layer" Simple as that, MUCH THANKS TO ALL!!!!
