Default Looking for tips for squaring the X-Y Axis

I’ve been using my new buddy for a couple weeks now, getting the feel for things and now I’m ready to do some real projects. As I just finished leveling my work surface, I happen to put a square on the X & Y axis to check it out… not good.

Anyone have any tips that they have found to work best before I just start loosening things up? Is there a process documented somewhere?

don't measure the machine, measure the largest square you can cut opposite corner to opposite corner. Then adjust the gantry one side of the gantry half the distance you are out of square. The side you move will determine what direction your square will move in. Also you will want to mark your original starting points.
