    Gary Campbell....
    1:30pm – 3:00pm Gary Campbell “Rotary (4th) Axis Demystified"

3:15pm – 4:30pm Michael Mezalick “Designing for the Rotary”

I'd love to see this class or samples from the class that these two subjects cover. I'm always interested in rotary designs so if either of you have pictures, samples, notes, instructions you could post for those of us who can't make it, i'd love to see them.

    Jack...
Both Michael and I offer these and similar classes online. The presentation for Jim's gathering is a bit different than most of mine that are operation specific, as it is "non-branded" and has info for those that want to buy or build a 4th axis or purchase one on a new machine, along with some goodies that even the most experienced will benefit from.

For example, we are going to take the cutting done in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxvvbGLSqIk and show how every bit of it can be done using Vectric software with a little out of the box thinking. If you haven't sat in on one of Michael's sessions, you are missing out. This is one of those times that: "You just had to be there!"

A note to ShopBotters that will be attending Jim's gathering:

There should be "normal" machines rotary axes setup with and running at the camp. Hopefully one will be a ShopBot. This will allow myself, Michael or someone with ShopBot experience to provide instruction on familiar hardware and software to those that may find the rotary stuff difficult to grasp hold of.

We will do all that is possible to make sure that you do not leave without solutions to your problems.
