You guys are funny... That part of the shop is the messier section! Yes I work clean, lol

The material is 12mm Baltic birch, cut with a down spiral 1/4" bit in two passes. The material is actually 0.475" thick so I first climb cut to 0.4" then conventional cut to 0.48". No tabs.

Even with the down spiral my dc picks up the shavings on the 2nd pass. I have a 7.5 hp Belfab unit with a cyclone ahead of the fan unit. It isn't huge but does a great job of handling a shop my size. We often have several things running at once and it is just enough to keep up with three of us working.
