    Default Finger Painting

Using one's fingers can be handy at times to apply paint. I did so for a Christmas centerpiece project. The pine needle carved detail needed green paint, but to do it by brush was too tedious.

Finger to the rescue! I dipped the pad of my fingertip into the paint and lightly "rubbed" the paint on the high spots of the pine needles. I applied a stain overall after the paint was dry.
