    Default V-bits

We cut a lot of Corian and have found only one type of vbit the cut it clean, that said it was an old one I had at my home shop and I have no idea of the brand.
So if anyone could help out that would be great.
Here are some picture of it.

    Thanks,20160223_113105.jpg20160223_113112.jpg20160223_113126.jpg

I have several bits from an old Northwest Manufacturer that are Blue (kind of a sky/turquoise).
SYC was their name but they got bought out by Grizzly and ceased.
They are very good bits and were Made in USA.
I have not followed the quality of Grizzly bits.

I've done okay in Corian with Whiteside but don't do hardly any v-bit work.

It almost looks like a Rockler bit.

For 2 years now I have owned a 2009 PRT- 48 I use a Freud V bit, 1/2" shank for Corian. I have tried some others with poor results
95% of what I cut is Corian

Did you pull the bit out all the way? Manufacturer and Model # may be on the shank hidden by the collet.

The best bits I have found for corian are the cheap 90 degree V bits such as milwaukee, freud, and etc. Get them for $5 each when they are on sale at various online places. Boggles my mind.
