Default Router won't turn on, then error "not enough axes designated for a command in use..."

Desktop has been working fine. I created a part file with Vcarve Pro 7.5. When I ran it, the router did not turn on (switch is on) and it began moving X&Y. I hit stop and I got an error message "Not enough axes designated for a Command in use. Use [VD] to enable additional axes.". I ran a known good part file and the router started up before moving. I hit stop and no error message.

Tool 26 is a tool number reserved for a second Z axis… Have you got one?

No, just one Z. I did not know that. Interesting. I will renumber the tool and try again. Thanks!

There was a version of SB3 3.8.XX that started giving me this error also and it would randomly happen for no good reason. If you are using a older version of 3.8.XX, update to 3.8.40. Be sure to update the firmware after updating the software.

FYI… Z axis tool numbers can be 1-19. A axis (second Z) can be 20-29.
