I know you have been thinking about retirement for a while. Good luck and enjoy. Don't be a stranger. Thank you for your contribution to the shopbot world.

Dave, Hope like heck you're still considering an on the road Desktop while following the seasons and hitting only the best placed shows to sell stuff!
My year+ on the road in a Roadtrek 210 with only a gem carving set-up made me realize it was doable, in the finest of locales I'd never been to.
With a Desktop it would have been awesome, and hitting mills to get their weird shorts, would have made a huge impact and maybe a different life than now.
Hope if you do make it to Maine you relax for a few weeks in my house to Play a bit!

Had an interested prospect from the Woodweb ad but it did not pan out.
Next weekend I will be advertising all (including the bot) as individual items but if anyone on this forum is interested in anything you can have first dibs by emailing or PM'ing me.
I'll discuss pricing on any unreserved items privately until any left at that time are generally advertised.
Forklift and pallet racks are reserved.

PS: I'm sure I'll be around and am still seriously considering a desktop or max for ongoing fun stuff/side work.
Got to admit I love Scott's custom rig and the custom buddy remodel Dewey did and thinking about re-purposing my custom Gecko box, straight drive motors and gearbox parts, and the spindle I picked up last month to build my own smaller hybrid.
Thanks to all for the kind thoughts and offers. Exact plans are still in formative stage.

Seems like most of us get into this when we retire not the other way around. Had the desktop been available i would have gotten it instead of the buddy. Anyhow welcome to my world of retirement.

Well, for those who haven't picked up on it:
All the tools I needed to sell, including the Bot, are sold.
Along with select wood pieces, legal files, ladders, etc, kept basic shop starter stuff like Unisaw, planer, etc. and all that's in a storage warehouse.
Far from retired, working full time, but in another aspect of construction.
Haven't had time to even think about next mill yet.
