Default I need bat wings for my motorcycle...

I need bat wings for my sidecar rig. I was thinking something collapsible off the left and right of the rig, fairly large, similar to the linked images below. I need to be able to remove and stow them or collapse them and wrap them for travel. I want to pull the wings out when at an event to ride around at 20mph or less.

I like the look of this, but it's not practical for travel on the highway. I'm afraid they would flap about or interfere in some other way... though it would look cool.

Make out of metal and weld to the rig, shouldn't flap if made out of thick enough metal. No different than some of the big wings on cars from the 50's.

buy you an old 58 cadillac and cut the wings off of it!!

Actually you would need to make them out of metal. Why not go down to a local welding shop and make a deal to make them a sign or something in trade for fabricating you some wings..

Steve Knight hit it, that is what I would do though I would use 1/4 ply for the core and then fiberglass since weight is not an issue it will be very strong, you could get fancy and vacuum bag it.
