    Default loose sensor

I just noticed what looks like an X axis sensor is loose on my machine. I'm not sure where it's supposed to attach, but I'm guessing it's not supposed to be just hanging on the wire!

    Hey John,
Mine is slightly different than yours, BUT from Blue paint to the little black toggle that triggers Input 3 when pushed sideways is 3.728" on mine(and that one has never been moved).
Looks like there may be a screw to attach it? I'd look for the screw hole. (like on the Z-upgrade limit switch)
But if not, and it was glued.....use a razor to clean old glue off/ clean with denatured/ and use Gel CA.

    Thanks Scott,
I didn't see a screw hole, but that picture helps me know where to look more closely.

    John,
If it was just CA'd at the factory, Don't forget to scrape all the old residue off both the machine AND the sensor!
At about 3/32" residue...it can glide right by and clean off that whole toggle box....cost you $35 for a new one.
Just had to get 3 because of a bent screw/spacer on my second Desktops Z-upgrade(1 spare).
IF there was a screw, then pretty good idea to go over your machine totally as far as bolt tightening.
