Default Table becomes un connected during carve

I have had this problem a lot and Shop bot has sold me 2 Geko drives and the problem still happens. During a carve the table will loose connection and will no longer move by the machine. I can push it front wards and backwards freely. I have checked all of the obvious things like the table the wires. I even switched the wires to see if it would do it on the y and it does. I am very frustrated and it is costing me a lot of money in wasted material and time. any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the pinion gear and rack? Are they in good shape and making good contact? If you can move the table freely by hand and the control box is still on, then it sounds like a mechanical issue...joe
