Having Problems w/ ShopBot Udgrade
A set of four students were put in charge of the installing of new motors and braces for our ShopBot. I am one of these students. We are having problems with the installation of the Z motor. We have had the following two problems so far:
1)We assessed the diagram to find out where the new mounting holes should be drilled but the problem is the old mounting holes are to close to the new ones and they would end up bleeding into each other.
2)When mounting the X1 motor we merely used the holes for the old motor but the spring is to loose, even after we tightened it as much as possible.
Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
