Playing with the heart /sap line in 3D.
I'm getting there,at least in Black Walnut.
No sanding..straight from machine.
I think oil finish will clinch it.
Pure S*** Luck(and some measurements)

Awesome!!!!
looks great and no need for improvement. I have never used such a bit and use only ball noses. Not trying to be lazy but sometimes i dont trust my aging eyes. If you get the chance to post the part number for that bit it would be great. I am close to your feeds and speeds. I am at 2.6 and 2.6 and use the same rpm. I dont understand fuzzies. One board lots of fuzzies the next board none. And species has nothing to do with it.
Rick,
Lately been using the .005"flat(37-21) at 20% step;

But perhaps the .01"flat I used to use (37-23) at 20% step better for you;

Virtually always raster against the grain, unless the design lends itself to an Offset toolpath, in which case with these bits I use a conventional toolpath...virtually no fuzzies

Most of my 3-d is so deep and large a 2 inch over all length might be too short. I am hung up on cutting with the grain and I need to experiment with cutting against. I did it by accident once and was really happy with the results
Yep, Your work is great as is, but maybe occasionally you could use them to Rest Machine things like feathers/stars etc. for finer detail?
Just thinking.
Works best on Tiny stuff like I do
