    Default BSOD on Shutown

    Hi all,

    New issue with the new computer: BSOD on computer shutdown caused by the CP2101 USB to UART bridge controller, installed by the ShopBot software. Has anyone experienced this, before? Never happened on other computers. Looks like they left a breakpoint in the release code for the driver...

    Hi Jerry,
    It's home built, Windows 7 Ultimate 4 core Intel processor. I think I have it fixed. I uninstalled the USB driver, updated the SB# software to 3.8.42, and re-installed the driver. Seems to be good, so far. Odd that it only blue-screened on shutdown, though. A trace indicated a breakpoint was left in the release code - pretty sloppy programming, if so...
