I am looking for a simple chicken silhouette I can cut in my chicken coop for a vent? I found some online but they are EPS files.
Thanks Mike

eps works fine most of the time just import it as a vector file.
I can't get them to open for some reason.
I tried downloading this one.

Try this. I did a screen shot of the chicken, saved it as a JPG, imported it into Aspire and then did a trace of it.
Came out pretty well I think, the trace function of Aspire works quite well.
Hey! How do you load a CRV file on to a reply like this?
as an alternative, Inkscape can trace and vectorize any image, it's free
It can save to a ton of file formats also

Did it need cleaning due to low resolution?
In Google set the image size to large
Also maybe Gaussian blur the image a little bit in gimp or a photoshop type app which helps clean up rough edges

If you just need an outline you might be able to use one of the free vectors we have for our 3D models - take a look at these two links:
https://www.vectorart3d.com/store/?F...etail&ID=50404
https://www.vectorart3d.com/store/?F...etail&ID=50739
If you click on Free EPS outline (which should read no problem into VCarve or Aspire) then it will give you an outline vector which is the silhouette of the model. We offer these as a way of seeing the relative size and shape in a layout before you buy a model but if it works for what you need thats an easy answer.
Cheers,
James
