    Default Knock down trestle table

Just made up this table, I put a wedge design to hold on the top the whole table can be taken down and set up without tools.

It will make going to shows with more tables a bit easier and shipping too.

with the top wedges gently tapped in the table is very solid

Very nice! And timely for me as I’m working on a trestle table now and trying to decide how to removably-attach the legs!
Do your vertical members seat in a socket?

Steve, I am note sure what you mean, the base is tenoned to the verticals and the top uses the 45 degree cleat wedge system if you mean a locater socket no I did not make one for this table the 45 degree rails are the same length on the top and base they just line up flush.

    +1 on the very Nice.
Are dowels on the French cleats on the legs all the way through and extending a little into the cleat on the bottom of table top for indexing?
Hadn't though of wedging a French cleat... Lots of surface area
